Okay... Snape gave in WAY too easily after Dumbledore's little talk. I think he should have continued to refuse and see what happens. I mean they want him to leave his home PLANET for who knows how long to come help him with their problem. Whatever it is the SG1 gang need his 'help' for has nothing to do with him, and they should go find someone else, instead of making someone who didn't want to help them go.

Yes, Snape gets to save everyone again, while being treated like a child by the Headmaster. How special. It'd be easier to the Stargate people to treat Snape with respect, if he ever got from anybody around him.

Boy, it's a good thing Snape went through the gate--if it took Sirius and Remus an hour to get down to the lake, Snape would have been long dead before they could possibly rescue him. But then, he was treated like that in the Shrieking Shack, too.

I like the anti-Snivvy spell, though.

when snape goes throuth the stargate he would be dead before his first spell hit its target.

Yay! I did think it surprising that the Stargate people treated Snape the same way the Order did, even though he was pretty heroic during that time. Nice ending.

This story could have been serious, but kind of fell apart at the last. Snape should have been honored or at least told he did well by the Stargate people for rescuing the child and not giving in to either Anubis or Ba'al--after all, they were not raised at Hogwarts to the belief that there is never any need to thank Snape for anything he does. The Stargate people seem to treat him the same way the Hogwarts people do, which is to say, of little or no important and with no respect, without having been around Dumbledore for all that long. (and of course the Order is used to Snape being _their_ loyal slave, so naturally they don't feel the need to ever worry about him or his well-being). Snape, unfortunately, is _used_ to be tortured, disliked, and given no respect, having known nothing better. I'm surprised the Stargate people fall into it so quickly, too.

As it is, things revert to the same old, same old without much point to anyone going through this story at all. Snape is tortured and then healed; Dumbledore is all powerful; Sirius Black is stupid; and nobody really cares, though you would think the Stargate people would find something wrong with this picture.

And if someone is looking for something, it's 'Harry sought the Sword of Gryffindor', not 'sot'. "Sot" means a sloppy drunk.

Sorry to be so harsh, but it did sound like you were going to deal with some actual issues, but backed off.

Why should Snape believe Ba'al? He's been told the same thing by Voldemort, Anubis and Dumbledore--and one day's worth of kindness pretty much means nothing by now, since he knows that there will be a price. It would be nice if the Order could do something to help, of course.

Poor Snape, dragged from master to master--and even if he's finally returned to Stargate, he'll just have another master there. Hope he's healed soon.
