I'm a few chapters in and the story itself is good, but some of the writing styles bother me. In this chapter, the beginning seems to be all backstory, which as a reader is kind of tiring to go through. Some of the details seem unnecessary, and I really think it would have been better to pace the backstory maybe through the first few chapters anecdotally rather than combine everything together at the beginning. Still, it's a good read )

My God, I have never read a more infuriating story in all my Twilight Fanfiction reading life! They were so ...INFURIATING... their lack of communication with each other was beyond belief, for two very 'clever' people they were definately both a circus short of a clown. As for waiting 7 years, I would have looked down my nose at him and told him to sling his hook, coward was the correct word to use.

Whew! *fanning self* It's getting hot in here! Definitely wanted to smack both E&E at breakfast, but at least it prompted some other important discussions.

I appreciate this setup. I'm glad we don't have to hear and see their entire history and instead we're starting at the "7 years later" point. I am interested to find out Edward's motivations and I'm concerned a certain older brother, father, or similar may have been responsible for the shift... I also think Bella's being a bit melodramatic regarding Edward's feelings after her vent about Rosalie; if he were so mad, he'd have said something sooner.
