I think each chapter is an improvement from the one before it. You're doing a good job, and I'm still interested in reading more.

Interesting. I immediately thought "gargoyles" when I read it. I wonder if these physical abnormalities are permanent, or if they can be controlled. And, how will they affect their shaman abilities? I'll guess I'll have to keep reading. :)

It's an interesting concept, and I would like to see what the actual powers are. As far as structure goes, it was a bit difficult to read, and for the upcoming chapters it would be nice for you to be more descriptive.
