Chouji and Shikamaru are my 2 favorite characters in the show.

Very nice and very sweet. I love the friendship between those two and you got it perfect. You portraied them very well.
I also liked the pictures you used the colors"Shikamaru saw red [...] Then Chouji taught him how to see the other colors once more. or the cookie-metaphora.

So just got done reading the chapters that this comes after and I thought of this story. It. . . well, it captures their friendship so well. It is a good story.

Aw...so sweet! I love the friendshhip between these two. It's so perfect! I love the dialogue between them, especialy this part.“Don’t…Don’t die on me, okay? I don’t think I could handle it.” He murmured softly, fear and anger boiling in his chest.“I won’t.” Chouji assured him. “I’ll make sure you go first when we’re both old geezers.“Good.” He let the fear and doubt consume him. He let sleep take over.

I thought it was kinda funny. Shikamaru always talks about his own death in such a casual way.
