This was great! You've done a wonderful job capturing Johnny's character, I think. It sounds like something that would be going through his mind.

I just got the first season as well, and wondered if any fanfic had been written for WKRP. I was so glad to see that there was some, even if it is skimpy in number. This was a good start for your first fanfic, and I thought it was pretty much in character. Feel free to write more WKRP fic if you feel like it-I'm sure you will have a welcome auudience for it! :-D

Funny you should mention this particular episode. I just finished watching it a few hours ago on WGN America.

I would agree with Johnny's assessment of the whole situation. I would also normally gripe about the short length of the story. However, I also understand its portrayal of a single moment. That does not allow much time for much more.

Congrats on your first fic. That was fun! Johnny doesn't seem very OOC to me and I couldn't find glaring errors in the writing itself, so good job, look forward to more. Feel free to come to me for WKRP advice. :) And of course the last line made me laugh. :P
