Nice little story you've started here. It's rare to see a Ranma-locked fic where everyone actually behaves in character and that *gasp* has a surprisingly original plot!

I like your little backstory between the Musk and the Nichieju. It's interesting and doesn't contradict canon, and using the kettle as a cure for Ranma's condition certainly sounds plausible.

It's also nice to see there are authors out there that will admit that Genma actually cares for Ranma and can be clever occasionally. I hope you don't ham up the "Genma is extremely sexist" fanon for drama - Ranma is a tad sexist (though he's perfectly willing to fight a girl as a girl) but there's no evidence anywhere in the manga that Genma shares this belief.

All in all, excellent writing quality and a promising start. I'm keeping my eye on this fic, I hope you update soon!

Interesting. I've sometimes wondered just what would happen if somebody actually got hot Cursed Spring water on them. Would they change? Would the curse break? It's good to see that somebody has decided to write a fic using that guestion.

Its a bit early to say, but this looks fairly good so far. Just don't have Ranma adapting too fast. Though, by saying that, I do not mean that you should overdose us all with massive surges of ANGST.

P.S. I really hope that Shampoo's plan to hook up Ranma with Mousse will fail. I don't like the myopic duckman very much.

Wow! An intersting idea to have Ranma try for a cure so early in the series, and that It was his fualt. Having Shampoo to help him with his new life. Though having Ryoga get lost after seeing them seem a little unusal.
