This was a lot of fun! The changeover from one type of media to the next was very smooth, and each kind tabloids, talk shows, and the "respectable" media was very much in "character." I must say that I felt sorry for the parents, though, and it would be nice to have a bit of epilogue did they withdraw from the Republic or not? What was the backwash reaction? Other than a few incomplete sentences, this read very well. I give this a 10, and I'm off to check if you've written anything else!)

Wonderful! What begins as a fun and diverting commentary about our own media ends with a rather chilling observation about what, IMO, could be a major factor in the eventual downfall of the Jedi. But really, Shampoo30, you could have at least made it rain on New Maadrik when the Jedi arrived, thus giving us a nice wet Obi-Wan scene.)

Worth a read. The POV was interesting, gave a good feel for the emotions people could be having in the Old Rebulic while it was in its last years.
