Dherea 1/3/13 . chapter 1OMG - this is heartbreaking. I read this and thought of all the older couples I have known who are so lost without their spouse. It just makes you so sad... |
Tawnyfur 9/16/11 . chapter 1The idea of Harry and his friends growing old and dying makes my heart seriously hurt. I mean, I'm sure they lived long, happy lives, but the idea of Ron or Hermione having to live without the other is nothing short of painful to imagine. I mean, when the person you've known since you were eleven - your best friend and comrade, the love of your life - up and dies, what on earth are you supposed to do with yourself? Poor Ron. Beautiful. Makes me wanna cry . . . |
glamme17 9/3/11 . chapter 1 I hope you know I never cry when I read stories like this. But today I was bawling. Harry Potter was my childhood, and forever it would be. I am 20 now. Married, with a tale as romantic as Hermione and Ron's, or Ginny and Harry's.I think about the day my parents, aunts, and uncles will pass. I think about the day my husband would die, or myself of old age. These stories are touching, wonderful, and bring a little light to the darkness of death. Knowing that your loved ones are safe in heaven, like in this story, brings a little happiness to the fact they are gone. eep writing. Don't let the pen die... That'll be my wish. |
Guest 8/19/11 . chapter 1 Do more please! You're amazing! |
Cassandra30 9/3/10 . chapter 1These are wonderful! |
Scrivensabre 8/31/10 . chapter 1Okay, this time I didn't even need to get to the end to start bawling. It is only a truly brilliant writer, with such language usage and plot manipulation as yours, that could evoke such a reaction in me. I NEVER cry over stories. Never. Or so I thought, until I read these... |
Rose Unspindle 5/28/10 . chapter 1I've gone through three tissue's now. |
extraflamycandle 4/20/10 . chapter 1Damn you for making me cry! ;) I have to read the others! I'm debating whether to do it now and be done with the crying, or go back when I'm less...wet. :) |
dragongirlG 1/22/10 . chapter 1The part where Ron is at the hospital - when Rosie says "Dad...?" made me burst into tears. This was a beautiful, sad, moving piece that captures old age and grief perfectly. |
wrappedinharry 11/20/09 . chapter 1You are so very good at this. I wonder did you cry while you were writing this series of stories. Another crack has appeared in my already abused heart, thanks to you. I suppose I shouldn't be so sad because they did lead such long and (after the hell that shaped a lot of their early years) happy lives. But of course, poor Ron has now lost his raison d'etre, and has to go on alone. For how long I wonder, will he be able to keep going? Beautiful. Lesley |
Jess.91 10/5/09 . chapter 1Well I only checked this out because of curiosity and to be honest didn't think I'd particularly like it. But wow. I was nearly in tears towards the end of it, |
sree 6/25/09 . chapter 1 you are on a killing spree, aren't you? *lame attempt at joking when crying* Its all your fault. :-) |
Dumbledore-The-Phoenix 1/8/09 . chapter 1Ach It hurts! But I can't stop. :)? |
Lola-Leexx 1/6/09 . chapter 1Oh my gosh this made me cry so much! My flatmates thought something terrible had happened when they saw me! You convey the sadness well with lines like: 'Tears flowing rivers down the valleys of his aged, disbelieving face.' I also like the idea of a simple headstone for Harry, its something I can imagine happening. This really is excellent, well done. |
Elegos-Sirinial-Shamtul 10/18/08 . chapter 1That was by far the best of the three, though Going and First and Last also have awesome qualities! |
