I know this is kinda a late review but you should make this a 2-shot and in the next chapter have it like after max saves the world and its on thanksgiving and the Flock lives with them and Ella finds the letter and gives it to her!

I think this was a great idea to do. it sounds like a cute tradition to write a letter for thanksgiving,

I really liked this. After seeing Ella portrayed as some kind of downcast troublemaker so many times, it's refreshing to see someone channel her upbeat and youthful nature. Very touching. I can even imagine Max herself choking up at this letter, especially over the "Max's chocolate chip cookies" bit. Well done!
