LOVED IT! I loved my PS1 copy of FFIV i played that thing t o death then i brought a DS just for the sole purpose of bying the remake which was equally as good. This was a great follow up. Kain x Rydia is a first for me but i still enjoyed it, you may have madea fan out of me yet! definantly a must read.

I totally support this too. Fluff is good, really. I'm a big fan of Kain. There's just too many bad things that happened to him. He needs more love. That and Kain and Rydia are like my favorite characters from that game. I should really play it again. It's been a while. You did a wonderful job though. I think you got Kain's personality down pat. That was amazing. I really liked the way that it was written... I guess in a way of distance, yet fighting for closeness in a body that doesn't want it, but can't fight it. (Kain, of course)

Aw I just melted into a big puddle of happy goo. ^_^ This was nicely done, and I think the take on having everyone say what they wanted to protect was unique and interesting. :) I look forward to seeing more of your work, and I think you did a good job with the characters (especially Kain, since you said you were struggling with him)

I think it was a nice little fic. I'm a fan of the Kain and Rydia pairing too, as well as Cecil and Rosa. I'm a total sucker for sappy stuff :). Great fic!
