This should be interesting, but I wonder if this was the best time to leap into Murdoch. Sure, this is good dramatic place for Sam, but what do we get from Murdoch? I'm hoping you'll pull something cute out for Murdoch. Like an escape. That would be cool. Let me know when you post more, please!

Not bad. I like how it starts out. I think there needs to be more action (as in "he paced across the room," or "he clenched his fists in frustration," not necesarily "he knocked him to the ground with a kick to the back of the knees"), instead of just dialogue. Besides that, everything seems great. I hope to read the next chapter soon!
