Wow this was surprisingly good and conveyed a lot of powerful emotions through Lelouch's shattered mental state I especially liked the randomness indicative of schizophrenia or a multiple personality disorder.

You're good at stream of conscious writing! It's believable, the way it keeps swinging from anger to self-pity. You... wrote it in third person? How'd you do that? xD

Shirley... He flinched suddenly from where he lay, inviting the startled glances of the three around him but HOW COULD HE KILL HIM WITHOUT ROUSING SUSPICION? He had never planned to keep him anyway. Discard him trash trash trash HEARTLESS, aren't you HE DESERVED TO DIE -- Shirley, Shirley...

(Love how you randomly put places where Shirley's name would pop up, like all his revenge and his anger fell when he remembered he was grieving.)

I was so suprise of the ending of that episode. And your story really paint the inner anguish that Lelouch is feeling after all his lost in his life.

Episode 13 pissed me off, but I'd read spoilers about Shirley's death even before I read your last fic so I had been more or less prepared. I'm really so frustrated that this had to be the way that Shirley ended, but the recent thought and appreciation she's been recieving from the fan community has helped me in moving on to accept this.

So I guess that's where I'm coming from when I say that I found this fic really timely. You write a lot of introspective stuff which seem more focused on various character's internal thoughts than plot, so I think the less structured, cognitive style you've used here quite effectively pushed forward the content. Of your work which I've read so far, this piece is the one I like the most, and I think also the strongest.

I actually got here from your lj post at the code_geass comm... but that's irrelevant. (sort of)

Anyways.. I could really feel the inner turmoil Lelouch was going through.. The whole mesh of thoughts seemed quite realistic and really captured how utterly devastated he was. And similarly.. I liked how his anger and bitterness constantly fought with his usual logical reasonable self.

It was really good.. I admit it was hard to read at first because the many different thoughts (lol?).. but once I got it.. It was a nice touch. Good job.

Very interesting rendition. I can actually see this as happening.
