this is sweet, but ive never been much on the charla/luke pairing. i never really liked it, but this still was quite sweet.

i think maybe you should use more "he's" and "she's."

I've never read The Island trilogy, but this was pretty good. You captured the emotion well - the feeling of being stuck, of being lost - and I was able to understand despite having no clue who the characters were ;)

One comment - you said their names a lot. Try substituting some pronouns - it'll make it a lot less repetitive.
