Oh, wow, did I like this. At first I was confused as to the title, because I didn't see how Lorne was going to fit in, but...wow. This was absolutely amazing.

For a dark tale as told from a soulless vampire's point of view this was amazingly enough almost a tear-jerker. You've accurately combined all of the features of a murder mystery, a horrow, and a romance and you've done so while actually giving the vampires a sense of individuality rather than a personality from out of a mould.
