As a massive fan of the magic that is Remy Lebeau, you have captured the character perfectly, I have not been able to put this down like it was my favourite book!

I loved every minute of it! I am kind of glad I am late coming in to this one because it was great to read it all at once! I would have gone crazy waiting for updates - this is too good and I need more...quick! Looking forward to the next chapter!

Very nice to see another update, and I greatly enjoyed this chapter! You did an excellent job of describing exactly how bleak I imagine Antarctica to be, as well as how "cabin fever" began to set in for our unlikely allies. Keep up the great writing, and I eagerly await another chapter!

Eek! You know, when I noticed this story had jumped to the top of my favourites list, my first thought was I would find one of those little 'author's notes' update with an apology that you've decided to discontinue. I don't know WHY since I take months upon months to update sometimes, I guess it's just a reflection of how much I love this story that it was my first fear!

Anyway, don't worry about the the update rate, it was a very technical chapter and I imagine was quite tough to write! You gave a very solid impression of Antarctica here - the bleakness and hardship of it.

I loved Xavier in this chapter, how he addressed them as his "children" - not in terms of strenth or experience, but because of his pride in them - and his gentleness with Rogue.

Jubilee and Rogue's dialogue really spices up the chapter and makes for an amusing break from the gravity of their situation. I loved this in particular:

"Ah'm just glad Bobby's not on mah team. Can you imagine how horrible his puns will be considerin' where we are?"

"Ugh! Just kill me now why don'tcha?"

But what really moved me was when Jubilee admitted "I don't know what I'm doing here." For some reason that really hit home.

Oooh and the ending makes things sooo interesting! Guess Rogue's got an even bigger part to play in this than she thought. So if she wasn't scared before...

Can't wait to see what Remy & Logan are up to next chapter!

Every now and then, in meandering through , I'll stumble upon a gem of a story...How We Ended Up Here comes close to being the best I've read out of the small percentage of said gems. This story had me reading on my blackberry during lunch at work, staying up WAY too late to get in "just one more chapter!"...I'm caught, hook, line, and sinker. You've captured both these characters so realistically that I wondered halfway through if you were working for Marvel! You've told us readers that you wouldn't leave this story unfinished, and we're gonna hold you to that! Be well, and here's hoping for another update soon.

Wow, captivating to say the least. Will Remy ever stop with the self deprecation? Will he grow some common sense and stop being so impulsive? I really hate his insecurities sometimes, and this is coming from someone who's favorite X-Man is Gambit. Can't wait to see Remy get his revenge on Sinister and the Marauders. I just hope he makes it out alive. Excellent piece of work and I'm on the edge of my seat for the next installment. Take care & update soon!
