Oh, that was beautiful. Short and sweet and packed with an emotional punch. This character seemed like such a gentle person, and it was a touching scene when he did save the little boys life. Thanks so much for writing it. Of course, as always only you could do jusfice to something like this. :)

What a great concept behind this fic! The whole "beautiful child" idea fits the Manticore project we met in Radar Love very well, and tying it into the Chinese kid was what made it work. This is a short fic-- it's what, 300 words or thereabouts? Your concept is fantastic, but I think your execution could be improved with either less information in those 300 words or more words to smooth the presentation of the information that's already there. It's always a pleasure to see that you've put up something new. :)
