Three months, and I didn't know this existed. I guess I need to search for GrimGrimoire fics more often. Though, with three authors, and all the stuff DezoPenguin's written, you'd think this fine game would have its own section by now!

Anyway, this is a great story. If I had to guess, though, for various reasons I assume this is a "previous Lillet," like the one "our Lillet" meets in the Philosopher's Stone chamber.

Hasn't learned enough magic yet, perhaps, to make things work out, and has run more than five weeks trying to get it right. But she'll get there.

Nice, toying with the idea that some part of Bartido remembers outside of time. Lillet remembers the most, but all of their souls are going through the same thing. The physical brain may not remember, but the person still does somewhere. Bartido might have given a hint of that in the first day of the game. But it's never repeated, so...
