Oh, geez... That's so sad! I haven't read MN in such a long time, so to read this and know it all started with the Professor (I LOVE him)! T.T

I'm one of your newest subscribers on You Tube, and I was intrigued by this link on your 'I Will Believe//Pevesnies, Narnia' vid. So, I checked this out, and I must say, I am veraciously impressed! ^U^

Poor Ed! Just as my theory about Lu's guilt concerning leaving Narnia the first time seems to have been overlooked by C.S. Lewis, it seems Ed's guilt about what he did with the White Witch (as well as the Professor's dealings with her) have been overlooked as well. Yet, it seems everyone focuses on Ed more than Lu, and the poor Professor hardly gets enough attention... XD

While I am not sure this would have happened, there is no reason why it shouldn't have. I like it that Prof. Kirke culd empathise with Edmund.

I really, really enjoyed this. Edmund is very well characterised, and the Professor is good as well (although, of course, we don't see very much of him as an adult, so it's quite hard to judge). I liked Digory's telling of the story, and the comfort that seeing that -others- had made mistakes as well brought to Edmund. Very good :D:D

I've always loved Professor Kirke. Him and Edmund were my favorite, because they both made terrible mistakes, and they were both silly boys who fell under the clutches of the White Witch. I like the interaction you have between them in the story. :) The only thing is that I was expecting Peter to come in at some point, because you made a mention of him being a constant worrier, and he had woken up to Edmund trying to sneak out of the room... but meh, Peter wasn't needed, and I just loved Professor Kirke in this!

This is really beautiful.
You captured a wonderful moment between Edmund and the Professor. I couldn't have thought of a better way for the Professor's story to be told.

That is most definitely an idea I've never read before - and now that I think about it, I wonder why? Of course, Digory and Ed had so much in common, and that dreadful common link was Jadis.

Very nicely done! It's often overlooked that Digory and Edmund have so much in common. Painful as it was to hear, the Professor's story was comforting since it included not only his mistakes, but his forgiveness and loyalty and understanding. I suspect that he, like Edmund, will be seeking atonement until the end. Bravo Zulu! A lovely piece. I hope you have more like it for us!

Ooh, it's nice to see an interaction between two characters that we don't really see interacting. I loved Peter in the start, because of course he'd be concerned, and I like that Edmund appreciates it but still doesn't want it. I had kind of hoped Edmund might say something to the Professor about the wardrobe not being a mistake, because I imagine despite some unhappy times Edmund was very glad he got to go to Narnia, but I loved how comforting and personable Diggory was. Nice work.

Very nice. I've often wondered if, after the professor learned what had happened, he spoke to Edmund about his own guilt regarding Jadis.

This was wonderful. You don't often get any fics with good Professor Digory/Edmund interaction in them. :) Bravo!
