123-321 2009-10-02 . chapter 1wow, just WOW incredibly moving and i am not even sure why |
BluEyz91 2009-09-17 . chapter 1I loved the whole thing. Everything was perfect from the way it actually sounded like a fairy tale to the characterization of Harry and Severus. I'm definitely going to put this under my favorites. |
MrsCaptainJackH 2009-09-17 . chapter 1It isn't rambling. I love it. I now wish i'd read this one first, so I could see where you are going with ROG.
The reality behind the fairytale :-D its poignant and you did it so well.
(PS, the BtVS quote works perfectly... it sets the mood and I can hear Giles telling the whole story)
(PPS, if you have time, I'd really appreciate it if you could check out one of my stories, and let me know what you think? Ones a very short oneshot, but the other is going to be a series of drabbles) |
Potterworm 2009-06-26 . chapter 1How have I never reviewed this story? Gosh, I could've sworn I did. Maybe on potionsandsnitches? Anyway, I was just rereading this, and I wanted to tell you again - this is an absolutely fantastic story. It's beautiful and poignant, and if more people wrote this way, fanfiction would be given a lot more respect. Particularly, though, I loved the sort of snarky humor bubbling away underneath all the words, what with the "(And these villains are only children but so’s our hero, so we overlook that)" section, and all. It's like you're trying to point out how utterly ridiculous these things are. Yet, at the same time, the way you wrote, you turned me into a little child, hearing a bedtime story, who was being chided as she was taught a lesson. That little blurb has to be my favorite. |
Evnissyn 2009-05-29 . chapter 1This was absolutely and utterly amazing. Stunning. The last section was like the story that the public built up afterward, a story that just erases and writes over the whole real story that came before ... Just perfect. |
doing 25 life in azkaban 2009-02-21 . chapter 1I thought that this was very well written and for some reason I loved the line: "we hate him because he acknowledges that our hero is a child."
Nice job. |
 Cad2u 2008-11-25 . chapter 1ARGH! you've gone and made me cry! dammit! I love it! |
Celestial Moonwalker 2008-10-01 . chapter 1How sad. That the truth is lost among the legends... *sniff*
Magic is. The GREYS simply ARE. It's the way it is.
Simple, really... |
LVEB 2008-09-05 . chapter 1What a beautiful one shot ! I like the simple way you use to tell your story. It reminds me of old tales and it is quite enthralling. I also love the morality: no white and no black only a "rainbow of grey". It is so very true... Moreover, the portrait that you have made of little Harry in his cupboatd is poignant and extremely moving: the way you use word is haunting. I'm sure I will remember this story and the images you have used to create it. The idea of the fairytale which explodes is also great. And the repeated use of the expression "brave new world" has a great emotionnal strength. And last but not least, the friendship between Harry and Snape is something I would have liked to see in the books... Alas... we all know now that it was a wishful thinking...I hope I made myself clear because I do not trust my english enough to express everything I feel about this impressive OS. So thank you for sharing this story and congratulions for the way you have mastered its writing ! |
 Cry-of-the-doomed-prophet 2008-08-15 . chapter 1*cries*

That was so sad! But Good! Really freaking good! |
Troyana 2008-07-26 . chapter 1 The style that you used to write it is just amazing. I liked it a lot. |
sick-atxxheart 2008-07-13 . chapter 1I liked it, very much. It was very well written. |
 misundersnape 2008-07-13 . chapter 1Cute!
Does this mean that Severus is now the hero... too? He should be, shouldn't he. And it's good to see he survived!
misundersnape... |
gin 2008-07-12 . chapter 1 its beautiful. well done |
 whitehound 2008-07-12 . chapter 1Interesting and unusual.
They *nearly* made a connection, during the Occlumency lessons, until Harry blew it. Harry was talking to Snape like a real person, and Snape was being positively chatty, so long as you don't mind Service with a Snarl. |
