I'm sorry it took me so long to read this! But it's great. I love the setup you've created and the mythos you've built around the child of a Watcher and a Slayer and why Potentials never show up in Watcher lines. Looking forward to part 2!

...'more dead than alive'. Poor Giles, the events of season seven did some serious damage to the watcher psyche then. Or is it something else? Can Willow fix it? Will there be a happy ending? Why can't I stop asking questions and just wait patiently for part two like a normal person?

Great work. You have me hooked. And I especially like that it is Willow who is on the case. Giles/Willow closeness is lovely.

Ow, ow, poor, silly Giles. Though, after season 7, Gilesbot doesn't seem very far fetched. Willow's return to London is going to be interesting, and possibly exasperating. I'm very much looking forward to reading more on your next posting day. Excellent first chapter! *adds story alert*
