This is well written. I've read all six brumby books and as a fan of the stories(they're my fav books in fact) I'm pleased to note that you managed to do it quite well and keep the characters in character. The style even sounds like what Elyne Mitchell herself would write!

Cool. I LOVE the Silver Brumby books, and have tried to find the stories of Thowra's children, but to no avail. I've only read two other horse fiction books by Elyne Mitchell, but I forgot what their names were. Anyway, I LOVED your story.

Oh wow - what a lot of memories this one has brought back, I used to devour the Silver Brumby stories when I was younger ... in fact I want to go and read them all again now.

This fits nicely & credibly into the Brumby history with young Yarraman / Benni etc and you've captured the flavour of the Bush too - well done!
