I love your story - but I am also confused. It seems like Subaru is dead, but then who was reporting the story to the person? Kamui told the last bit, but Subaru told the first bit. Or did Subaru die between the intevals?

I know in the end Kamui went to live with Subaru's family. So doesn this mean Seishirou and Subaru figured a way to beat the tree and are together now?

This was utterly beautiful. I was a touch confused at times due to the changing view points and times, but it was still wonderfully beautiful. You matched their characterizations amazingly with skill you rarely see. Excellent, excellent job.

A very beautiful story... very convoluted and, on the surface, confusing, but it works well somehow; the ending is the better for it. You have a wonderful understanding of the characters and it shows in your treatment of each of them. This story is so completely wrapped up in itself, it works on a level many AUs do not; it's totally contained. All in all, a pretty amazing accomplishment (especially where Tokyo Babylon is concerned!)

I've enjoyed reading this story thoroughly! Every chapter was filled with suspense and great writing. I loved the ending, it was incredibly dramatic-and it ended perfectly; tied up all the loose threads (i.e.) the subplots like the biographer (a very well developed character, despite his short appearances...he's cool) Subaru's wife and child. There was a wonderful sense of closure at the end, Subaru, Seishirou and Rocky have made peace with their rôle and all three were able to put it behind them and move on. Hmm...I can't seem to be able to express myself without using cliché...well, I'll just finish with a hearty bravo. Bravo!

I just wanted to tell you that I think your writing is absolutely beautiful.

Isa, that was wonderful. It was a great end to such a wonderfully written fic. Your word choice and characterization were excellent and just the entire flow of the story was nice. I really liked the ending as well, even though -, well you know. I don't like putting spoilers in review. Anyway, the entire story was original, creative and just wonderfully told. This last chapter did that twisty thing in my chest that hurts. I love it. Fan fic rarely does that.

The lanuage used was what did it. It was good. Really good. make-me-jealous good. I like how you changed it, but got the feel of everything dead on. True to the characters, even in an Alt world.
