I find this story very interesting. Although I hate the idea of a permanent injury to Tony, I like the way you have the agents interacting. I don't know if you have considered the new treatments for spinal cord injuries that may give him some partial recovery but it could be interesting. The initial swelling could have covered up the fact that it was not a true complete spinal cord injury. Anyway, it is interesting.

HEy- I think your story is done very well, I can see the characters as I'm reading, it's like watching an episode, a really, really good episode. Can't wait for the next chapter or two or three :) :)

There were many things that came to mind as I read this story, for one this is actually a fic that Tony doesn't *fully* recover from (which in a strange way makes it all the more interesting and better) and secondly that he doesn let his emotions show, whether it be anger, greif or pain. My mind can only imagine how this story could have ended up, but I know it had and still does have great potential.

I hope that you haven't forgotten, or given up on this fic. I would like to see what happens next. Please update soon.

Hey liked your story poor tony. And you did an awesome job with the back injury cause let me tell you that it hurts like hell I'm only 17 & I can't even bend over & somedays can barely walk all because my bottom disc (the one that controls the lower part of your body)is to far over & I have something else thats on top of it which won't let it heal itself like its suppose to, all from bending over 3 months ago to pick up a damn hanger. I can't even imagine the kind of pain that would come from being shot there. GREAT JOB

I'm really enjoying this story.

I know a bit about spinal injuries (my cousin was paralysed from the armpits down due to a logging accident... thankfully he had full function in his arms) and the fact that you have the facts correct is heartening. Too often miracle cures in fanfic are more about ignorance in the human condition than the desire to write a good story. So, unless you dip our Tony in Lourdes water I expect a wheelchair in his future.

I am looking forward to reading the rest of this story and having Tony become an important member of NCIS... just not a field agent.

This story is really great and well written!
And also I fell bad for Tony, it's a great idea for a story.
It have to be very difficult to deal with such a situation, but I hope he will try. He has great friends, who will help, esp. Gibbs and they will get him trough this - I hope!! One day, he will laugh again!?!
By the way, I wonder, where he will live, once he'll get out of the hospital and reha? My favorite choise is Gibbs!

Great story! Finally a well written story where Tony has a permanent injury. In most angsty stories Tony gets 100% well, no matter what injury/illness he has, which is often not very realistic. Keep it up and don't make him "magically" walk again, it is much more interesting to see how he will cope in this situation.

I feel so bad for Tony. I cried when he said that he couldn't do it, but I'm glad he is finally talking about his feelings. He's been bottling them up since he woke up and he needed to let them out, and it's great Gibbs was there for him. We needed this chapter, now we are ready for next step.
