Sorry I am so long in getting to the party (and missing all the chocolate). I absolutely loved this story. The suspense was great and the development of our duo's romance was perfect. Totally believable and endearing.

I've found this story right now so I'm reviewing it without knowing the end...I have a feeling that the connection between the couples is that they're more than work partners...Even though they don't have a relationships, their feelings for each other are obvious to a good observer and to the killer...If I'm right, Bobby and Alex will be the perfect victims for this guy -or gal...

I like your style, especially the subtlety in depicting their usual gestures and expressions and the meaning of them ...It's easy to visualize what you're describing

Wow, that was amazing! By far the best "casefile" type fic I've ever read. The best story, from the POV of the plot and adherence to canon storytelling style.

My only complaint is that from just before where Alex shot the guy til the end, it seemed quite rushed. Not the same pace as the chapters leading up to it.

I wish I'd written this; I'm that jealous! And impressed-I liked your plot, pacing, and characterization very much. Plotting is difficult for me, so I appreciate someone who writes a tight story. I could also 'see' and 'hear' our favorite detectives without working too hard becuase the dialogue and descriptions were spot-on. I was sometimes destracted by an awkward sentence or an inappropriate verb tense, but those are minor problems closer attention to editing would solve nicely. Overall, this was wonderful. Very, very satisfying read. Thank you

Definatly a twist Bobby is usually the one with all the guilt, but he would of course be there for her. Nice work on this chapter.

of course, the nurse would understand what bobby really needed. i'm glad bobby was able to wake up and start helping alex get over all those negative feelings that she shouldn't have. the tables are turned here: usually it's bobby with the undeserved guilt.
