Oh, I LOVE this! You had me really freaking out when Zuko was "dead". I had the whole scene playing out perfectly in my head, their voices--I couldn't help but have a goofy grin on my face during the KataraxZuko part. You played it out in an unpredictable yet completely right way. Thanks once again for an excellent story.

That was very cute. Katara yelling at herself was something I would do, and I think many other people would too. I was loling when they started to kill each other. Great job!

this... this was ... this was so ...omg.

I honestly don't have any words to describe how amazing this was-- it was so breathtaking, I was literally holding my breath. It was like watching an alternate finale-- it was *just* as amazing (even more amazing, if i can be so bold)

It honestly blew me away.

- when Toph was experiencing all that pain, I was literally horrified. I can't imagine such a young girl dealing with that kind of pain-- but you created that so perfectly, the visuals and sensory descriptions had me literally SEEING and HEARING her cries in my head. Very talented work here.

- when Katara found Zuko. It.. it was amazing. Her anguish-filled cries, her turmoil, her anger, her frustration.. that too, I could see unfold before me-- my chest was literally tightening with all the emotions that Katara expressed for Zuko-- it was.. ohgawd it was brilliant.

- when Katara failed. I absolutely loved when she was yelling at him, reprimanding him for dieing-- I was succumbed to utter guilt for her; I could see that she wanted to tell, show, share things with Zuko, but she would never get her chance too-- seeing that made me feel so so sorry for her. Unrequited love because of death? Homg. It was heartshattering, beautiful work.

- when Zuko comes back. You really outdid yourself-- like you wanted-- you really truly "went out with a bang." Katara's reaction to him coming back to life, her line "I thought I lost you," the epic kiss (which the show so should've gotten YOU to write it), Zuko's line "I thought you didn't care," and finally they're tumbling around-- like it was any other day and not the end of a war. It was adorable but at the same time, it was so jaw dropping. Takes supreme mackdaddy skills to pull that off, and you did a wonderful job.

Gawd. Everything about this was frigging sweet, and so wonderfully IC I could cry-- which, by the way I think I will after re-reading it. 8D

Please please please, send this sucker to Bryke-- demand that they make this into the alternate ending-- I bet you anything after they read it, they'd have a hard time turning it down.

Well, I've only read so many Zutara fics, but this one by far stole my breath away. Katara's desperation and her screams as she was trying to heal Zuko just made your heart burn, actually burn.

The writing was phenomenal!! Now I'm off to read more of your fics! Thank you.

Why couldn't it have ended like this? I mean don't get me wrong, I loved the finale. But Aang/Katara and Zuko/Mai is not my idea of a happy ending. :-) I like your ending better.
