HOW IS IT POSSIBLE FOR YOU TO WRITE SOMETHING LIKE THIS AFTER SUCH A LONG HIATUS? ): SRSLY. The way you write is so... poetic and gripping; I'd never imagine that this was all to get your muse back. Geeze, I'm having trouble just spitting out this review. XD

You know I'm pretty indifferent to Axel/Roxas, but the way you write it... It's like Riku; I only like him when you're doing the writing. You have some sort of talent that makes me love and sympathize for characters that I'd usually shrug off. How?! D:

I kind of love this pairing now -- Olette/Roxas/Axel, I mean. ♥ It's the way that you threw Olette into the group, I think; how Roxas compared her to Axel, like he was looking for what he'd left behind in her. I love the little details that you used to show that obsession, too, like how Axel and Olette have the same color eyes. I'd never thought of that.

I will admit that I was a little confused with the timeline toward the end, but when am I not? XD; The plot really made up for that. And the dialogue. I can't even pick out my favorite quote. D: ( I really liked this one, though: "You lose some, you lose some, Roxas. That’s about all I’ve learned in my poor excuse for a long life." It's just so... Axel-like. ) You write as Axel so well; even though most of his dialogue was given from Roxas' memory, you never felt detached from it. Your Roxas was amazing, too... and Olette... and alkajsdfjdf everyone. I really like your Hayner. XD

Ah. Ah my God. Ah my frickin' god. This was so full of total win. I just...I can't...AHH. My mind is frazzled at how WONDERFUL Roxas was. You made him so heart-broken and reserved and casual and he was just ROXAS. I wanted to hug him. So much. And the way he pined over Axel...Jesus, it tugged at my heartstrings. Of course, there was no akuroku smex thrown into the deal, but his reflections were just so full of awesome that I can very much forgive you for it.

AND OLETTE. God, she was great! You made her so in character - motherly, attentive, and compassionate. And I seriously loved the triangle you wove, where the Roxette wasn't overpowering, were they were just FRIENDS, while Roxas sought in her what he'd had in Axel. And it just: NJLRHIO;ADNKCL; IOHBB KAB LB (kabob?)AWESOME. I can't think of an adjective appropriate enough, so my random garble will have to do. (Lawl, never thought I'd get to the point where I was on the edge of my seat because of a Roxette scene, nearly screaming for Axel to sashay into view and break it up. xD)

And your description. Shit, Constance. It was just GRANDIOSELY-FANTASTICALLY AMAZING. *nods*

But that wasn’t quite it. I wasn’t instantaneously hit with a thought that you were The One, nor was I swooning at your striking blond hair as the girls around me did. Instead I felt like we had been friends from the start. I knew you; when your eyes made contact with mine, you knew me.) AND YOU USED THE WORD ERGO. THAT, COUPLED WITH THIS ENTIRE ENTRANCE PARAGRAPH, MAKES ME SPAZ UNNECESSARILY IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE IT'S SO INCREDIBLE.

(“You lose some, you lose some, Roxas. That’s about all I’ve learned in my poor excuse for a long life.”) Lawl. Such an Axel comment. It made me grin with glee.

(And then Roxas awoke from the nightmare, fisting his hand and throwing it into the mirror's gaze. The glass shattered, pieces falling like a waterfall of ice entwined with red blood that ran in small rivers down to the sink and collected around its bottom.) DUDE. Best description of boy-punching-hand-angrily-through-mirror-because-of-pent-up-sexual-frustration-and-loneliness description EVER. :DD

And the Axel x Roxas in the end. And Roxas searching for that one group of three where he'd feel at whole. And everything about this story just makes me go AWW and spaz fanatically. Because you are full of awesome. And I don't know why this doesn't have seventy gazillion reviews yet (probably because that's not a real number, but it should be invented for your story, DAMMIT). ANYWAY. THANK YOOU!
