I still read that story again and again...

I just wanted to congradulate you on this great story. Even though I know everything's going to work out and the fellowship continues their journey, you've done a great job creating some decent suspense. The part where Legolas, Gimli, and Pippin all fell into the ravine and the rest of the fellowship had to contemplate leaving them behind in particular. I also want to say that your characterization seems pretty spot-on, in particular with the hobbits, and you've created some very believable, very tense scenarios for Legolas and Gimli within the cannon of the original. Can I also say that Boromir is turning out to be a bit of a dick? Lastly, I'd just like to add that your writing style is the most consistent with Tolkien's I think I've seen. Very nice work!

I haven't the slightest clue what took me so long to find this fic but I'm glad I did. The writing and characterization were top-notch. Tolkien himself would be proud. It actually would've been nice to actually see the fellowship bond more before they broke apart.

So that'd be four bags of Southfarthing Pipeweed instead of just two. lol.

Wow, what can I say to describe the awesome?

First the dynamics of Legolas and Gimli's relationship. We al know they'll become close, but it's soo amusing to see them literally at each other's throats.

Then the equality. While it focuses on Gandalf and Legolas and Gimli, every member of the fellowship has a moment to shine. Merry and Pippin were hilarious, while being in character. XD brilliance.

Then your writing was smooth and believable, easily caryying the story. I'm definitely going to keep reading your stuff!

Wow! Just wow! You're story is beautiful. I devoured it. You have an amazing talent for outlining the charakters.

Finally, finished another of your stories. Loved it! And Legolas and Gimli, it is a mystery how those two ended up as close friends considering there beginning. Those pranks they were playing at each other, well, at least they stopped because they got out of hand. Putting pipeweed in Legolas water was mean and even though Legolas is an experienced archer, shooting at Gimli could have ended with Gimli being injured.

I felt sorry for Boromir, he is like the fifth wheel even though he tries to become a part of the group. Maybe his end could have been prevented when everyone had tried to become friends and include him more?

All in all, wonderful gapfiller! Looking forward to read more. Off the look up next story!
