a spy in the death eaters is really working out as a nice plot to run throughout- plus, some one-sided narcissa/rodolphus? how very interesting... i feel sorry for her here, nice characterization

Reynard Lestrange (great R name!) and Alba, very interesting addition to the Bones family- i like the dynamic you've given Dumbledore and Edgar. nice to see him have friends, enjoyable, plus, Aberforth the terrible cook is another nice touch ;)

ooh, you have how sirius always hated funerals! (personally, of course, find that so in-character) fascinating look at remus' relationship w/ his parents, and at Mr. Lupin overall, never seen it done before, and i love the 'it wasn't a novel' ending. great job

ha, elvendork reference :D james talking to harry was adorable, very in-character lily/james fluffy cuteness (esp. love 'your godfather will be a maniac' - man, little does he know! :D)

love ridiculously huge caradoc! and the fab gits- ha :D plus, his hitting below the belt re. marlene- nice touch. a really fun conversation on no panties- and nice to see some flings/not-serious-romance stuff going on amid wartime too :D

alice and mack as good friends- that's great :D for some reason i always think of frank and alice as older, but i love how you have them here at twenty-one and friends w/ fab and gid, plus the whole scene with them was just too fun :D and i liked how you worked the whole 'late' idea throughout

wow, really a terrific mcgonagall- and poor olga bones, knowing what's coming there!- but mcgonagall's 'clever girl' and thoughts on sirius n' regulus, as well as her inadvertent coldness seem spot-on- i usually steer clear of her since she's tricky, but i think you nailed her. nice!

oo, Pretty Face Regulus ;D - and Thorfinn Rowle, great name and major canon find, i don't remember him- but lovely characterization, again. found the nightmare interesting and telling, about regulus' fears
