| rubies'n'diamonds 2008-08-15 ch 2, | abuseOh my Goodness, I'm so glad I finally got a chacne to come back to this story (it's dazzeling diamond, BTW, on the joint account). You're AA is excellent! The opening was stellar, it was fabulous to start with the actual words of the poem...it immediately entranced me, and I HAD to read more. Then when I realised it was Archie's poetry I couldn't help but grin...a grin I maintained for the whole chapter! Atlanta's behaviour was so typical of her, the pouting (even though she's spunky tomboy, she's has those whiney, girly quirks!). I LOVED when, Archie was all "You've got a WHAT? With who?", great moment that was. It was great, the chemistry from there on was electric! Then I loved the indifferent behaviour you wrote him as having, when the minutes just seem to pass...grat way to write in the tension. Of course, when he asked what would she do if someone was in love her, I SQUEALED. Then I loved everything that followed, even the "Who? Archie, we don't know anyone named Martin," LOL. And the end...aw, Poor Arch...GAH. SO well written. Great work! |
