I have to admit, I’ve never really gotten the whole Kain/Valvalicia pairing, but this story was absolutely beautiful. I’m definitely glad that I clicked on it and decided to read it, it was great! I feel for Kain completely, and it saddens me to see him suffering in every story and every game. But you know what, that’s Kain. I wouldn’t love him if he wasn’t such a badass, tortured by his feelings and guilt.

This story was excellently written. I think you got the character’s down very well. And the description and the words you used were a great choice.

All in all, amazing story. Thank you very much for writing it!

Methinks I should have read this one first? Some of the references in your other piece are certainly clearer, now.

Again, your writing is superb and thoroughly enjoyable to read. I do believe I've read many of your FFIV stories, looking over your story list, and I have enjoyed them all, even if I haven't left reviews. My apologies for that, by the way. I'm rather scatty about reviewing.

One question: I am fairly certain the title to this is Latin, but what does it mean? I can take a guess at the latter two words, but... well...
