I must say, the ending was a really unexpected one, one of those that just come to you before you realize what's happened and it stings. In a good way. I almost expected this to have a happy ending, but am pleased that it didn't! (Those are overused anyway. In my opinion, of course.)

Overall, I liked it. It could have been better (I fail at explainign how, though... something about the atmosphere, that the language could have been more imaginative, more intensive, or something? Like in those fics that you just can't stop reading until you're finished) but this is just good. Keep up the good work!

It's bittersweet and lovely. And even though a crying Axel is far from what pops into your head when you think 'oh, Axel' you still managed to keep him in character.

So, kudos.

And of course, you know about how I plugged you for Cloud's slutty nurse skirt. I'll probably mention you for something in the last chapter. Probably not liking my "puddle of happy" line...

Anyway, I still think it was too angsty. And I still think that you're too sadistic and cynical. Is it so hard to write a goddamn happy story once in a while?
