But (I forgot to mention this in my chapter 1 review) I suppose that years aboard a ship separated from his family could have changed his personality. The way Jack talks is bothering me a tad - he doesn't really talk like a "pirate," he just sort of slurs - and I think he'd still have a habit of calling Will "mate" and saying "savvy". I did enjoy how you wrote the whole Will-is-back-on-land scene; couldn't find anything there to critique. I'm just running out of things to say now so I'm gonna wrap up this review. I can't wait for the next chapter. |
| Shvon 2008-07-23 ch 1, | abuseI have to agree with ElizabethTurner93 here, that Will was a bit OOC when he got mad at Jack, but otherwise, the whole story and the idea are very strong and well-written. I personally do not like Will, but I am enjoying this story a lot - it's actually changing my opinion of him. You're a very good writer. No real critiques apart from the OOC fact I mentioned earlier. |
