Well these past two chapters have been eventful; lots of heavy action here.

Its cool seeing Shinn and Sven work well as a team. With their military backgrounds so different but similar shows me that its good that they are on the same side. The way they teamed up against the clone was great to read.

Daerka piloting a Windam was funny; also likes his musement on Yzak.

Shame about Murdoch but I am used to you killing off characters whether they be main or lesser.

So Fllay finally makes an appearance; it will be interesting to see if she or Kira make the killing blow on the clone. I am looking forward to the battle since it will be epic.

I like that Athrun is taking more of a commanding role from the rear; to me it suits him better than a grunt on the front line.

Another great one, but Nosh... Of all the people who could break the code... WHY SHINN? Also, I wonder... given that Shinn now knows that Fallen and DF's pilot is one in the same, would Fllay now be forced to rethink her approach?

chapt 18 definitely takes the cake for the ultimate twist that no one could've guessed--Flay was actually Fake Kira?! This only leads to more questions, and what exactly are the Destinied planning...

However, I also liked it that in its part, the events had allowed us to see how Shinn and Cagali too had grown and improved throughout the time--how the events in the previous FA and the past few chapters have moulded them into the characters we see now. I agree that the battle btween Skynight+Strike Noir vs. Dammesrungfee is quite interesting; as it highlights more on Shinn's improvement--skills and attitude.

And.. Sven actually knew about Shinn & Cagali? Either he'd guessed it right (since Shinn is quite an open book when it comes to emotion, and he had hang out with Shinn a few times), or he's very good in collecting information xP

Whoa, a secret has just been revealed and I feel bad for Murdoch being killed though. Man, won't the real Kira be shocked at this when he finds out.

Ok, this is a helluva curve ball that you've sent us. By making Flay the "Dark Kira", you've change the whole gameplay of the story. If I may say, this feels like the original setup for Flay in my LoR (being captured/revived by new eemy faction, enhance her, make her a perfect weapon), but with her engaging Kira and talking "changing", the feeling of the antagonist has been lost. I don't know about the rest, but having her as the enemy (even if it's for a very good reason) is something I didn't expect here, specially after SA, which means you're truly good.

Shinn and Sven expected a Kira-wannabe, but got the real deal at the end. No wonder they got trashed like that after faced against a SEED/APEX enhanced MS pilot; SA's Flay in all her glory. It intrigues me... Shinn reached Flay's real self when Kira with ELEANA couldn't? That's the only odd thing in all this.

Very impressive, chapter. Great job on it, keep it up.

It would have been an interesting idea- but seeing how its been done before, I would have thrown the idea in the trash as well.

The battle between the two Kiras is getting better and better. With "Fllay" making an active appearance, things will get interesting.

Well done! The battle of the Kira's proceeded as I expected... and 'Kira' vs ELEANA was a treat. On an unrelated note, Shinn just proved the Sameface phenomenon on SEED.

Great chapter, I really liked the encounter between the two Kiras as well as Shinn's visiting the good reverend and a disguised Lacus. Keep up the good work.

For a while, you got me sweating bullets with the "communication" BS between ELEANA and Evil Kira, since it hints some of the fails in script that 00 manage to do. Fortunately, you do know what writting (and continuity) is contrary to Sunrise's script writters. And Evil Kira's speech of the "stronger ones" reminds me heavily of Ghiren Zabi.

So, ELEANA was a "Fllay Firmware-Psycommu System" of sorts. While I agree with Terrance that the system would've allowed them to find Fllay faster, in the end, the idea was way too long-termed and the fact that was only hypothetical (and depending of development) not viable.

Are the Destineds following Zion's path of making Cyber-Newtypes?

And Shinn taking his time to make a move on Cagalli seems to OOC that I'm still having troubles reading. Well, the kid had to grow anyway...

One of the advantages of this filling the gap between the epilogue and previous chapters of Fallen Angel is that I know Lacus will be alright.

I do love how you had her pilot a Gundam, though it being Destiny was a shocker. We rarely see Lacus as a pilot and kudos to you for the good plot point.

Quite the number of twists and turns within the last few chapters. The personality differences between KIRA and Kira is quite interesting. I almost wonder if they are the opposite of the same coin in a way.

The growing relationship between Shinn and Cagalli is going very well. You have evolved their pairing quite good- something to be marvalled at since it is a difficult pairing to pull off.
