Even though I felt as though Alice was thinking happily (is that how you spell it? It doesn't look right to me) while she was going deeper into the Valley of the Departed Minds and Souls, the last sentence made me feel really downcast adn outright depressed. Wonderful oneshot!

Oh, wow Lola. This is honestly the best thing you've ever written, and it's amazing. I love the way you write her madness, and the slow descent into it - so totally real, and so chilling. The characterisations were beautiful, and the way you slipped in the Cheshire Cat quote was so seamlessly.

I loved how you put Alice in Wonderland; that was a really good way to venture into her madness. I'd never seen a story like this before, about the Longbottom's madness; I'm sure it was very hard to write, but you nailed it! Great job!

Uhm, anyway, excuse my very lame review. This is, by far, the best fic I've read in a long time. Most fics don't affect me much, but I honestly had chills at the end. Brilliant. Fantastic job.

Why didn't I read this before? I guess it's because the topic of madness scared me a little.

But this is brilliant, Lola, simply brilliant. The best thing you've ever written.

I really liked the bit with Bellatrix, how she acts so casually, speaking of inviting Alice to tea (loved that line), and all of Alice's ramblings and how she gradually forgets everything, though it's horrible, it's just so well written. You manage to make us see inside her head.

That is so unbelievably sad. Poor Alice and Frank too. I imagine he's going through the same thoughts. Those poor people. I hate Bellatrix right now!
