| Grendle1853 2008-05-11 ch 5, | abuseThis is one of the best stories I've read on this site. I was hesitant with the way you started, but I'm glad I finished it. Thank you for writing this, it made my day! |

| Hepburn 2007-09-18 ch 5, | abuseHi! That was excellent and you are a wonderful story teller and writer! I enjoyed how you combined both elements of their worlds and made them walk a mile through each other's world! I also loved the Greek Myth elements, because that is one aspect of Diana that I am drawn to and love! I know that you don't do Fan Fiction anymore ( a big shame!) and that you write your own novels (which I think is great!), but I have to tell you that I wish that DC would hire you! You capture the essence of Wonder Woman and Batman so well and you don't betray them at all. And if DC did hire you then maybe we could get some decent WW story lines going, with BM dropping by sometime?:) Take care and if I didn't say so before I loved it! Best Wishes, Hepburn |

| Night Hunter MGS 2005-03-14 ch 5, | abuseInsightful glance into the inner psyches of two of the most beloved comic book heroes of all time; the Amazonian warrior of peace Wonder Woman and the frighteningly intense Dark Knight Batman. There has always been tension between the two, who alongside Superman stand as the center which all other heroes in the DC universe revolve; other heroes come and go, but they stay the same. For years, the possibility of romance between these two extreme and differing personalities has been a source of debate and speculation, many say that the most that they'll ever be is close friends while others say otherwise. As with most things, the truth probably lies somewhere in the middle; a romance could occur, but it would first need a spark. In Darkest Light provides that spark. The story is well written, engaging, and insightful while keeping the two in character. A beautiful romance develops without the story becoming sickeningly warm and fuzzy. All in all, In Darkest Light is a short but sweet romp through the delightful possibilities of two heroes love lives. -Night Hunter MGS |
| VeltaIO 2005-01-07 ch 5, | abuseGreat story. I wish you would write more. I think you did a great job with the characters and the backgrounds. |
| Nayvera 2004-10-27 ch 5, anon. | abuseThis is officially one of the top ten best things I've read here on the site in any genre. Not only was it a great story, but the conclusions you had the characters come to was perfect and logical in every sense. The balance between soul searching and action was right on the money! To put it simply, I loved it and you now have a new fan. |
| Coffee 2004-10-19 ch 5, anon. | abuseFantastic- I always appriciate a well-written Batman/Wonder Woman fic. I especially enjoyed the interlude in Hades with Persephone and the Joker (having him embrace his insanity again was quite touching, actually, in a werid, twisted sort of way). |
| phantasm 2004-07-02 ch 5, anon. | abuseI can never even imagine a WW/BM pairing but your story had a good start and kept me interested till the end. That was becasue I wanted to know how you'd end it. Honestly speaking, there was never truely any chemsitry between the 2 chracters. The romance was very forced and not even at one point during the story, does one start to care about what happens to the twosome. This has mainly to do with the utterly false, out of chracter persona's of both of DC greatest superheroes. Batman seemed like your ordinary, everyday guy, pretending to be the trgic hero he was supposed to be.And WW, her chracterisation ws very weak and the poor attempt at the humor hardly even made a person smile. Worst of all was that in an attempt to make BATMAN AND wonderwoman to get together, u butchered their chracters. |
| argonis 2004-01-30 ch 1, | abuseThe story is great, but BM/WW? My god, that could never happen. What were you thinking, woman?! Batman would never fall for someone and WW would never blah blah blah blah... :P Anyway, all the great BM/WW stuff and the fantastic writing/storytelling has been pointed out, so something a little different: "He looked between Batman's set jaw and Diana's bent head. "I'm not an actor, am I?" His tone was resigned." That scene gave me chills. Out of the entire story and many other very memorable parts, it stood out the most. Just brilliant. |
| Fiona 2004-01-28 ch 5, anon. | abuseTerrific story line! I love the ending. Very true to the characters and realistic. |
