Azula is definitely lost without her mother's love isn't she? If only her mother did come back and give her what she needed, so the girl wouldn't have ever suffered. You captured Azula's resentment well, very well, actually. Ursa is the only one who can remove the knots, take away the tangles of the wounds in her heart. Well done! I will fave this! :D

Beautiful.  You captured the essence of Azula's issues; how she twists the love her mother held for her into simple fear and neglect.  Surely, she was a difficult child to love, but Ursa is/was a very caring soul and doubtlessly loved her mentally-decrepit daughter as much as humanly possible.  Your story reflected their doomed relationship brilliantly.

Really good, I loved that last line. I felt so bad for her when she thought about her mother in the finale, and I think you nailed it.
