This was a terrific story. Snape was just perfect and his relationship with Harry and Draco was just wonderful. Lucius was a complete, evil, bastard. So very good. :)

This was an amazing story. I loved how you wove and bent cannon to fit your plot. Well done, each of the character were extremely believable. I hate it when they do not act like the folks we have all come to know. Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent.

I read this from start to finish, and it was quite enjoyable. Your version of Harry's second year was quite unique and different. My main criticism, as cited by some of the other reviews was the sappiness, although the word I hand in my mind was corny at some points. To be honest, it felt like at times that angst and my love of said genre that was all kept me reading. That being said, your command of the written word is outstanding, and there's definitely 'meat' to this story that keeps the reader interested.
The chapters are long, so there is plenty to read and keep the reader interested for this alone. The characters cannot be faulted for being OOC, because I feel like you took what you saw from small bits of their personalities and enlarged them. All in all, a good story, and one that had me reading for over an hour.

For some reason I reeally love these "bye Dursleys, Snape wins" fics. The only one I don't really like is Lily's Charm, because I'm really a very impatient person. Sequel? HAPPY DANCE!

This is a better Severitis story in that it has a plot beyond 'boy meets father'. However I think it sticks a little too close to the book plot (though your version is well done) and turns a bit sappy. Also, the abused child theme is very strong in the beginning then has very little influence on the plot in the second half, which is probably why I find it a bit sappy in that part. But I am still looking forward to the sequel and find the writing strong.
