Oh wow, I really enjoyed this. First, it dealt with Keigo, who is one of my favorite (and sadly underwritten!) characters, and second, that metaphor was just. Perfect. The "today he knows he's not even that" line just hammered it home. I really enjoyed this; thanks for writing it!

This is another example of the wonders of fanfiction - more in-depth focus on minor characters and doing a great job of it. The whole Batman analogy was really fitting,and I nearly laughed out loud when you mentioned Ishida as Batgirl. XD It's pretty horrible to know that your close friend doesn't have a need for you anymore (no wonder Tatsuki beat Ichigo up),but Keigo as Alfred is...right. Just right. XP
