Knowing the characters and giving voice to their words in my mind was simply hysterical. Brenan being so completely rational... Sweets with his happy face boxers... Booth well, being the Alpha Male...

I love when Bones calls Booth "alpha male." Seriously. Makes me go all tingly inside. But to the main point...

I felt so bad for Sweets here. He was like a little kid, sad and lonely. Not to mention that Booth is built like a brick shithouse, and I'm sure it would hurt like hell to be on the recieving end of all that power. And even though this is an implausible situation, all the characters were very in character, which is always pleasant in a fan fic. The dialogue between Brennan and Booth was very true to life.

So all in all, it was pretty great.

I really liked this story. I've been wanting to read a fanfic that really got into Sweets' head (for a change) and this was really good. I found the whole corporal punishment scene very uncomfortable to read but coupling it with the almost-fluff at the end was lovely. Really good job. Any chance of more? Maybe the morning after? :D

I read the first part of this story quite a while ago, and didn't realize the second part was up. It was great. I can see Brennan being okay with spanking, becuase she would look back through history, and not just at the current belief system. And I think Booth would be somewhat uncomfortable with the whole thing, but still willing to do it. I felt kind of bad for Sweets that he had no other friends. I liked the way he didn't disagree with the spanking itself, but just couldn't make himself get into position and needed Bones to help him. In the end I liked that Brennen made Booth give Sweets a little comfort, and made him stay the night so Sweets wouldn't have to wake up alone. :)

That was so strange, and yet... so funny. And so in-character. I love how Brennan manages to frame the whole thing in the anthropological perspective. And of course, Booth was pitch-perfect. "I'm the Punisher now? Great, he was badass." So funny. Poor Sweets. Although he definitely deserved SOMETHING for his manipulation during the finale, that sort of humiliation and pain will make anyone wince. Loved his "Gonna sue you."

Very nice. Dunno if you plan to continue it but your Sweets / Booth / Bones weird relationship thingy is extremely entertaining.

Needless to say it was marvelous; you handled everything perfectly, especially characterization-- I've never seen a writer who understands these characters the way you do, right down to the Brennan/Booth banter.

And Lance--amazing. I felt for him and cringed with him and wanted to hug him, but I was also so proud of him! And of Booth, also, for staying with him, and Brennan for taking care of him, and...well, you get the idea.

So yes, you are BRILLIANT, and I am already looking forward to the next chapter...thank you again for updating!
