Kirida 1/27/13 . chapter 1I truly, truly LOVED this story! I remember reading this one some years back and it was one of my favorite stories of Spike and Buffy together. I am so glad that I finally found it again. Thank you for writing such a wonderful story. |
waddiwasiwitch 6/17/12 . chapter 24Great story - I loved the whole concept of Spike being the whole Watcher's Council more or less. I thought you got the characters down perfectly. |
Alottalove 5/27/12 . chapter 24wow...that was amazing, tragic, beautiful, the list goes on. A truly great fic and what a moving conclusion at the end. Thakyou. |
sarmi147 3/22/12 . chapter 1I just wanted to let you know this was one of the very first pieces of fanfic I ever read about 10 years ago, and it blew me away then and now, in fact it is the standard by which I judge most othe fic. I am so happy to have found it again here. Thank you so much for introducing me to this wonderful fan world. Little did I know when I stumbled across you fic, that I would find myself writing my own spuffy fic just a few years later. |
Jane Hood 2/17/12 . chapter 24Yeah. Great story, very original. |
M.F.K.Fisher 9/13/11 . chapter 12Nice use of some direct Gone with the Wind diagloue. This spike does feel very Rhett Butler to me. |
M.F.K.Fisher 9/13/11 . chapter 2This story does not have enough reviews! I'm already suckered in by the first chapter and will post more reviews I will probably finish this today. |
DarkWillow 7/24/11 . chapter 1I remember reading this a long time ago! I have allways loved this story, and I will re-read it again. Such an awesome author you are. |
SGin528 4/7/11 . chapter 1Wow this is very different. I like it. I was just thinking that I wanted to read a B/S future fic and then this pops up. Can't wait to see where this goes. This was a very good start. I hope that there are some flashbacks so that we know what happen to everyone else. And why is Spike so rich? And what has he been chosen for? Can't wait to find out. |
Tigermusic 8/12/10 . chapter 12thats a thing that i dont think i will ever understand and that is why buffy always manage to fuck it all up when she already know how she feel deep inside her...keep up the great work :) |
odyjha 4/6/10 . chapter 6LOL! OMG, I almost died laughing with all the ass jokes, espcially, the "now I'm spanking Spike's ass"...I love Spike and Buffy and am glad that I checked out this story. Since you are one of my favorite writers... Now if Spike would just love Buffy again, all will be well in my little world... |
RippersPet 3/4/10 . chapter 12 Was loving this story, right up 'til this chapter... Why take dialogue so blatantly from "Gone With the Wind"? Honestly, the wording wasn't really even changed much. You've got such a great thing goin' here... wouldn't it be better to re-word this scene, so it sounds more like YOU than Margaret Mitchell? (Sorry, but the Scarlett/Rhett dialogue just sounds 'hokey' when you realize what you're reading.) Am a fan, don't get me wrong. Just think you took a wrong turn here... Of course, opinions are like, well you know the saying, right? *grin* A little concrit never bothers me, so here's hoping you take this in the spirit in which it's intended. Mitchell was a great author, but you're doin' fine on your own. No need to plagarize her. Better that you give them voice. As I said, just my opinion, for what it's worth. On to the rest of the story... It's quite an attention grabber. I like that I don't have any idea where it's headed. Like I said, I'm a fan... just had this one tiny 'issue'. |
AceOfSpades 10/25/09 . chapter 24 Damn. Just Damn. That was amazing. ACE. |
Susan 8/16/09 . chapter 24 This is my second time reading this story after so long, and may have just been better the second time. The ending is so bittersweet, beautiful and touched me to the core as I let out a few tears. Your writing is very beautiful and the way you wrote about Buffy and Spike's love is something I always admire in any love story. Thank you for this story. I love it. Never stop writing, as your talent is needed in this world. |
