dude dont be so hard on yourself. you did a good job. the format and gramer didnt make my head hert (unlike some stories people write)and the plot is intresting.for a failur it turned out pritty good to me. continue on!

Your descriptions aren't bad. Remember the Keep It Short and Sweet thing they tell you in essay writing? If few words will do, then use few words. This doesn't mean dumb it down, just keep it concise. Some things could stand long explanatory paragraphs.

Basically, it's your story, follow your heart. But I really like it and hope to see it grow. ^_^
