Sorry to hear about your road test. Brilliant fic, though - I have to say I really felt for Charlie at the end of it. Loved the breakfast-table family dynamics, even though I thought the Apparition tests happened during the school year, especially since Charlie's birthday is in December? That's okay though - I can easily believe protocol has changed. There were some very nice touches - Ludo Bagman? and overall, I really liked the way you took that one line from the books and turned it into a whole story.

Well...he didn't lose any body parts, though...cute!

Sorry to hear about your road test-- I failed my first time too. Parallel parking in a mini-van was probably not the best idea I ever had :-)

As for your story, I think it's excellant! The breakfast table was amusing. I think you really captured what I imagine the dynamics would be at a Weasley meal. Charlie's emotions as he prepared for his test, and then failed, were also well written!
