This is really lovely. It's an interesting take on Edward/Tanya/Bella where I'm actually glad Edward chose Bella! Very like him, too, to be drawn to the safety of a future with Bella.

I especially loved this line: But always, in the back of his line of vision, is that siren in blood-red, unholy red, red, red, red and it’s driving him mental, he’s not concentrating, voices wash through his head as he struggles to control –

I love the repetition of 'red.' 'Unholy red' just strikes me really strongly, as does 'siren.' I love that word.
