Kaidie 2009-11-04 . chapter 18This chapter made me cry. And making me cry is a very hard thing to do.
This story is brilliant. It has been brilliant since the beginning. :] |
crazyelf22 2009-07-24 . chapter 19Wonderful? Fantastic? Amazing? No, no, I'm not sure any of these words quite capture the essence of your story. This is one of the best things I have ever read, including actual published literature. I am so glad that I finally decided to read it, after many recommendations.
I absolutely loved the way Susan touched so many lives in this story and they touched hers in turn. It was such a great flow. I liked that you wrote about so many different people in the chapter after Susan died. It was great to see the impact that she in her last few months of life and to see how much she was truly loved by those left behind. I was also glad that you never really reinforced a romance between Susan and Robert. You put in a few things for it, but no "I love you," or anything. I thought that made a great deal of difference and I loved it. You just put it light and simple that there may have somehow been a chance there. It really broke my heart to read the reactions, particularly of Lucy. I was tearing up these last few chapters. You wrote this story beautifully and did a tremendous job. I really applaud the work you done on this. It was just that good.
Simply put, I loved every single word of this story and enjoyed it very much. I wish you the best of luck in your future writings. :D |
crazyelf22 2009-07-24 . chapter 11I loved the story bit. It was wonderful to put that in for little Lucy. By the way, I also like the fact that her name is the same as the other Lucy's. It doesn't seem repetitive at all. It's a perfect choice. |
 crazyelf22 2009-07-24 . chapter 10W-O-W.
Peter's birthday card and Edmund looking out the window were perfect. They made me really feel for Susan in this story and I love when a story can do that. It tells me that it's an excellent read. ;) |
crazyelf22 2009-07-24 . chapter 7I tell you...It takes a lot to make me cry for a story, but Edmund's cassette almost did it. That was just so...sweet and caring in such a heartwrenching way. It was a beautiful idea for the story and I loved reading it. |
crazyelf22 2009-07-24 . chapter 5'Susan thinks of all the nieces and nephews she might’ve had.'
LOVED that line. It was just an ordinary line, simple, but I thought it was so perfect. You didn't write feel sad about thinking that, you just wrote her thinking. It was excellent.
I haven't reviewed so far and I'm sorry, but it's just because I am really liking this story and wanting to get to the next chapter soon XD. This is a wonderful story you have and I'm glad to have finally found it. :D |
veryannoyed 2009-06-24 . chapter 19wow this is sad i almost started crying |
grammar.grammarian 2009-05-04 . chapter 19this is absolutely beautiful. put me to tears more than once. you covered pretty much everything that bothered me about the end of the chronicles. (and apparently susan's behaviour bothered me enough that i repressed the memory after my first read, and was suprised and disgusted all over again after my second.) you really redeemed her wonderfully.
thank you. |
Walkthrough 2009-05-03 . chapter 19 Wow. I do not have the words, but in all honesty your fic is one of the best I have read for a long time- there are very few which can make me cry as much as this one did! Well done! |
Pavender the Manfisher 2009-04-26 . chapter 19This was absolutely beautiful. I loved your characterization of Susan, and how you played out the rest of her life. This was really touching and I almost cried. Thanks for posting! |
Noble Enough 2009-04-17 . chapter 18Wow. This was really beautiful. |
InfiniteThought 2009-04-17 . chapter 16 This is the best fanfiction story that I have ever read, best by far out of thousands. You have brought a grown man to tears and he stayed up until 2 am to finish it. I will most likely be late to work and I still consider it time well spent. you are a wonderful writer and your characters pull at heart strings.
Thank you. |
LucyCrewe11 2009-04-12 . chapter 19Oh yay, you finally put up the whole list. I'd thought you'd forgotten. BTW: I'll keep an eye out for your new fic. If it's half as good as this one was, I'm sure it'll be great! |
Miniver 2009-04-12 . chapter 19I wondered where you were. I'm so glad to see that you've surfaced again! I'll look eagerly for the new Susan story. It's been great to read back through this one. Chapter 18 remains my favorite, and is in fact one of my favorite chapters of any story anywhere--from the title all the way to the last word. By the way, this list, with modifications, is a good one for most anyone to follow. Of course, an item at or near the top of your personal list should be that you keep writing! |
Harmony352 2009-03-25 . chapter 18I cried when I was reading this story, it was so touching. |
