Reviews for: Lord and Lady Beckett: A History
Rosetta Penn
2009-04-04 . chapter 3
I love this. We never see Mercer as anything but calm and collected (Actually, in the movies, we don't see much of him at all. In my mind, you basically created the character for me). And never EVER would he question Becket. Still, even knowing this, I found it a little hard to grasp that he would kill his own sister. This little side story took care of that and made it totally believable.

Ha-! Lol, omg I love this!! They're both so different, and yet the same. Mercer especially seems so much less stern and cold blooded... he's almost childlike. I wonder if it's because it's being told by this Mr. Benjamin Taliaferro or because this is before "Lord" Beckett, and that mess with Perthina (gasp, tear, it's awful to hear Mercer speak of his sister so caringly while knowing what's to come). Perhaps they both have just yet to become the merciless bastards (with a caring streak of course) we know them to be.

Wow! I'm REALLY looking forward to the rest of these, I love how you came up with the historical part, that's very unique. It was wierd not hearing 'Lord' when adressing Beckett, but I'm sure I'll get used to it in time. :) He seems so much more, well...I guess he seems really different. He laughs more. He is a bit more relaxed. Those kinds of things. It almost seems OOC, but it's not. It's just the way Beckett used to be. I really like him this way, but I like him as Lord also...well, I love him no matter what. :) Anyway, enough of my ramblings, I LOVE this already, and I can't wait for more! :D
