Anyways, your tense kinda bounced between past and present. A lot. It was a bit distracting. I'd reread your fic and see if you could catch it. I can give you an example from the first paragraph.

I'll put stuff that's past tense in **s and stuff that's present in [] for the example.

She always *knew* what to do… always. Sure, she [can] get frustrated at times, but she still *knew* just the right thing to fix it. And she *enjoyed* it. But she *had* no solution for this robot, who desperately *followed* her around, causing various problems wherever he [goes]. And it *did not* make life easy.

Yeah, it's quite a bit. I'd keep an eye out for that when you proofread. Maybe read the fic allowed to yourself? That helps a lot of writers catch mistakes. You can get away with present tense when talking about EVE's attitude then move to past when talking about the events that had happened ("EVE always knows what to do, but she had no solution for that robot who had desperately followed her around") you you bounced a lot on those two aspects.

Other than that tough, another sweet and deep fic. :) Never apoligize for being awesome. XD
