This was awesome. I love how McKay defines magic as just another technology.

I just tripped over this...and I love it. John's take on McKay and on magic is just how I think John would react. And McKay's definition of technology--THANK YOU--mirrors closely that of one of my professors. Although my professor was perhaps more diplomatic.

At any rate, a fun read!

Very interesting and worth expanding the universe where they both exist and Rodney in addition to having the "ancient" gene has some minor magical or psi/witch aptitute.

Love it! I'd really love to see the Mckay/Willow interaction. Or even the Sheppard/Willow meet'n'greet! A wonderful concept. I wonder who the marine is, though? Brother to a junior watcher, perhaps?

LOL. Just wonderful. I can just imagine John meeting Willow babble-fest with Xander going "Military, ancient sentient city, alien vampires, how's that working for you?"

Funny funny funny. Though a good starting point for other stories, I bet this is just a one-shot drabble, right? It has that feel too it.

Though a question about longer stories, when are you going to write the sequal to 'Square Peg in a Round Hole'? Thats why I have you on author alert right now :).
