kokoronagomu 2009-12-07 . chapter 12prying is caring-- at least he's smiling now.

kokoronagomu 2009-01-03 . chapter 11sweet, i especially liked the relaxed way they interacted. i can see how sango could get embarrassed about a break in what she might feel in propriety, having relations with one's spouse when it's still daylight. how shocking!
good stuff!

vikikibouki 2008-11-13 . chapter 9I really liked the ending on this chapter. Very nicely done. |
SilverStarWing 2008-11-01 . chapter 10That was horrible! LOL! Sick and very Halloweenish. I'm surprised Rin even followed. |
Micah Rapp Cullen 2008-10-31 . chapter 10wow that was really morbid. |
kokoronagomu 2008-10-27 . chapter 8the title of this is very fitting. different circumstances > different responses. role playing, children will pretend to be the hero or the good guy vs. bad guy, the family roles (playing house) or all manner of adventure. something i'm sure he never had the opportunity to participate in with peers.
even though it takes on a little more mature twist, the concepts of involvement, acceptance, belonging are still felt and embraced.
i love the uplifting and ego strengthening all of your stories give him.
♥always a joy♥

 sakurahanaalice 2008-10-13 . chapter 6I can't imagine inuYasha taking pointers from a kid. :P |
sakurahanaalice 2008-10-13 . chapter 5Just wait until he grows up...heh. He'll cause so much trouble and save people from trouble too. :) |
 sakurahanaalice 2008-10-13 . chapter 4Aaw...poor Kagome. |
sakurahanaalice 2008-10-13 . chapter 3"The pen is sharper than the sword" "Words can hurt." Hehe. Well, words aren't sharper than the Tetsusaiga or the Master Sword (I'm a Zelda nerd. :P) "Sticks and stones can break my bones, but words can never hurt me...except for Osuwari..." |
sakurahanaalice 2008-10-13 . chapter 2That was cute. Ordinary isn't so bad. What Kagome doesn't realize is that she's not exactly ordinary... |
sakurahanaalice 2008-10-13 . chapter 7^^ Wow, so this version is twice as long as the other one. I just read the shorter version and voted for you on the contest. This is a cute story. I wish you good luck! |
 quivering quill 2008-10-12 . chapter 7cuute! ^^ |
kokoronagomu 2008-10-12 . chapter 7the flashback with chibi-yasha attempting to play with the village children--one can assume that he had never 'played' with other children. this was an interesting, discerning and astute personality study. even though she may have encouraged him to get involved in playing with the group, his reticence would most likely stem from his fear of being set up and/or being rejected.
making his own leaf pile, one could see the small hanyou watching his peers at play and trying to imitate them in private. by involving herself in 'his' play, she not only showed acceptance but by surreptitiously lingering to maintain physical contact, she fulfilled a basic need for touch and affection.
studies show that babies will fail physically and die without touch. one can see in the manga/anime, kagome is always leaning on him, taking his hand... one can imagine her 'finding' excuses to brush against him, stroke his arm, straighten the collar of his suikan etc. what an effect those actions would have on his ego and psyche.
sorry, this may be longer than the drabble itself, but i like all of the subtle nuances that were put into the story.
♥enchanted♥
