Goddamn, I'm impressed. The characters were so believable and the part about gays and African Americans was really spot-on for the times. You wrote this so well, and it was believable, and I know I said this, but I'm just impressed.

In the way of constructive criticism, in the sentence, "'So? She wants to go with you! I told you you were date bait!'" I think you're missing a pronoun. Also, I'm not an expert, but I don't think greaser/soc was mainstream American slang. It's more like an anachronism from S.E. Hinton, and it detracted from the story. You were much better off with "nerd," but "squares" and... something else would have worked just as well.

This story was just great, though. :)

this was.. AMAZING! i love how everything about it stayed true to the era, and to the characters.

I didn't really care much for some of the subject matter, but you definitely have a flair for writing. Good job on keeping the characters realistic!
