Good god this is a great story.

Another really good chapter.

In particular the bit about Jack Reese taking Dani and her mother out. It was beautifully bitter.

This line in particular,"Dani hated it. It was at this moment Dani decided this was her father at his most cruel."

Great second chapter.

Fantastic first chapter. The pacing, the switch between present day and the Dani's past. Just a wonderful first chapter.

I really enjoyed this story. It's not an easy read and I have, in fact, been reading it on and off for over a week, but it's an excellent exercise in plotting, pacing, and characterization. I think you hit a lot of what makes Reese tick. Thanks for writing it.

What an awesome story! I'm very sad that it's complete, but glad at the same time (because it means I dont have to inch from week to week hoping for a chapter update). The ending was perfect, and I really liked how you focused so much more on Reese instead of Charlie... not that I don't like Charlie, but Dani's got a story to tell too, and you did an incredible job of telling that story. You're very talented, I hope you write another 'Life' story soon!

I can't believe this story has only one review! It's very well written, and you've got a great sense of helping the reader visualize the moment. Quirky things like Reese's dislike of how Charlie doesn't appear to have eyelashes at times help this along. I like how you've done her background stuff and family life as well. I'm only on chapter 3, but am going to keep reading this till its done, so expect at least one more review!
